Seagram’s gin is a label is owned by Pernod-Ricard after the break-up of the original Seagram’s distillery.  Launched in 1939. It’s made with Indiana-grown grain and ‘mineral rich water.’ The grain is distilled with the botanicals pretty par for the course; juniper, orange peel, coriander, cardamom, angelica root and cassia bark.  This style of gin takes a neutral spirit and then adds juniper berries and other natural flavoring before it is re-distilled. After distillation, additional flavors and sweeteners may be added. Seagram’s gin is one of the largest seller in the world and ages in  ex-white oak barrels  for ninety days before being bottled.
