The Bloedlemoen is distilled at Cape Town distillery from South African. Distilled using 10 botanicals in a classic London Dry style, Bloedlemoen is a handcrafted, small-batch gin with citrus and juniper on the nose, nutmeg and cassia on the palate and a lingering blood orange aftertaste, from where it got its name. The label was painted by local miniaturist painter, Lorraine Loots, making it nearly as amazing as the gin inside the bottle.
Made with the same 10 signature botanicals — one of which is the Tarocco Blood Orange from Cape Town — Bloedlemoen Amber Gin is created through a combination of distillation and infusion to enhance the Bloedlemoen botanicals with a special selection of locally foraged fynbos and honey bush, to create a richly balanced gin.

Has a woody, spicy, smooth mid-palate with slight honey bush notes. The evidence (and restraint) of the spices and the fynbos flavors show the complexity of this gin.
