
Olmeca tequila is unaged tequila from Jalisco highlands. Olmeca silver or Olmeca Blanco Tequila is from the family of Olmeca brand that is owned by Pernod Ricard from Canada. It was established at 1967. The lineup features three sub brands, Olmeca, Olmeca Altos and Olmeca Tezon and which all are produced from 100% Tohana crushed agave. They are later doubled distilled from Mexican Blue Agave in copper pot stills. They all contain some distillate from juice of agave which has been crushed in the traditional method with a two-ton Tahoma millstone.

Bottle
It is a squat rectangular bottle with a square base and has a label that include a small illustration of a colossal stone head. The bottle also has embossed designs which represent a unique artwork that gives the bottle a Mexican past and a dual purpose of making it easier to grip. The bottle also has a silver metal cap that seals the spirit.
Appearance
The tequila as the name suggests is clear spirit color.
Aromas
Has a punch smoky agave filled the air which vanishes so quickly. Also, there are notes of pepper with mild agave and punky aromas with light sweetness.
Palate
At first has an unmistakable vegetal flavor. Follows a peppery spice that lie beside the punky fruits and soft citrus flavors with some sugar cane sweetness.
Finish
Offers a hot peppery spice finish.
Suggested cocktails
The mild flavor of punky fruit makes the tequila best in a margarita but when served in a traditional recipe.

Ingredients
1 ½ oz Blanco Tequila
¾ oz Triple Sec
¾ oz fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon sugar syrup
Ice
Splash of soda
Lime slice for garnishing
Method
· Place the tequila, lime, triple sec and sugar syrup into a shaker.
· Shake until the outside the shaker form’s frosts.
· Strain into the chilled cocktail glass
· Add a splash of soda
· Garnish with lime.
