Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir known as ‘the classic grape of red burgundy’. It makes for wines with strong berry flavors. The name ‘Pinot Noir’ was derived from French words for pine and black. The word pine alludes to the grape variety having tightly clustered, pinecone-shaped bunches of fruit.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the world’s most widely recognized red wine grape varieties. It is grown in nearly every major wine producing country among a diverse spectrum of climates from Australia and British Columbia, Canada to Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley.

 Cabernet Sauvignon become internationally recognized through its prominence in Bordeaux wines where it is often blended with Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The spicy, musky Cabernet Sauvignon is described as softer and fruitier by Jancis Robison.

Syrah/Shiraz

Syrah also known as Shiraz, is a dark-skinned grape variety grown throughout the world and used primarily to produce red wine. Riesling

Riesling is a white grape grown in Germany and the French region of Alsace, Riesling is becoming more and more popular for its ability to age and its versatility. Riesling grape variety originated in the Rhine region. It is an aromatic grape variety displaying flowery, almost perfumed, aromas as well as high acidity. It is used to make dry, semi-sweet, sweet, and sparkling white wines.

Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc is a green-skinned grape variety that originates from the Bordeaux region of France. The grape mostly likely gets its name from the fresh words “savage” (wild) and blanc (white) due to its early origins as an indigenous grape in South West France. Sauvignon Blanc is planted in many of the world’s wine regions, producing a crisp, dry, and refreshing white varietal wine. This grape variety has zesty, grass flavor which makes it one of the most popular white wine varieties in the world.

Chardonnay

Chardonnay is grown virtually everywhere wine is produced. As a result, its flavors vary significantly from strong, chalky minerality in Chablis to buttery caramel in warmer climates. It is often ‘oaked’ in barrels or with wood chips, which has become soothing of a controversy in the wine world.
