1.Mojito

A mojito is a perfect traditional Cuban highball drink mostly made on summer seasons. Its main alcohol is Rum. The cocktail consists of five ingredients, white rum, sugar, zesty lime/lime juice, cooling soda water and mint for a winning drink. Its combination of sweetness, citrus and herbaceous mint flavors is intended to complete the rum thus the mojito cocktail popularity.

  Ingredients

·         1 ½ oz white Rum

·         1 oz Fresh lime juice

·         2 teaspoons Sugar

·         6 leaves of mint

·         Soda water

Preparation

·         Muddle the lime juice, sugar and mint leaves in a small jug, crushing the mint, pour into a tall glass and add a handful of ice

·         Pour over the rum, stirring with a long-handed led spoon. Top up with soda water, garnish with mint and serve.

Serve in a Collins glass.

2.Espresso martini

Espresso martini is classified as one of the best caffeinated cocktails.

Ingredients

·         2 ounces vodka

·         ½ ounce coffee liqueur

·         1 ounce’s espresso, freshly brewed (or cold brew concentrate)

·         ½ ounce simple syrup.

·         Garnish coffee beans.

Preparation

·         Start by making the sugar syrup. Put the caster sugar in a small pan over a medium heat and pour 50ml water, Stir, and bring to the boil.

·         Turn off the heat and allow the mixture to cool. Put 2 martini glasses in the fridge to chill.

·         Once the sugar syrup is cold, pour 1 teaspoon into a cocktail shaker along with a handful of ice, the vodka, espresso and coffee liqueur. Shake until the outside of the cocktail shaker feel icy cold.

·         Strain into the chilled glass, Garnish each one with coffee beans.

     3.Passion fruit martini

Ingredients

·         2 ripe passion fruit

·         60ml vanilla vodka

·         30ml passoa

·         1 tbsp lime juice

·         1 tbsp sugar syrup

Preparation

·         Scoop the seeds from one the passion fruits into the glass of cocktail shaker, add the vodka, passoa, lime juice and sugar syrup. Add a handful of mice and shake well, strain into 2 martini glasses, top up with prosecco, then add half a passion fruit to each.

·         Serve immediately.

4.Pimm’s

The Pimm’s cocktail is a classic cocktail featuring Pimm’s No.1 as a gin based liqueur.

Ingredients

·         200ml Pimm’s No.1

·         600ml lemonade

·         Mint springs, sliced cucumber, sliced orange and strawberries.

Preparation

·         Fill a jug with ice and pour over the Pimm’s and lemonade. Give it a good stir then add the mint, cucumber and fruit.

5. Pina colada

Pina colada is a cocktail made with light rum, cream of coconut and pineapple juice. It may be garnished with either a pineapple wedge or maraschino cherry.

Ingredients

·         12oml pineapple juice

·         60ml white rum

·         60ml coconut cream

·         Wedge of pineapple, to garnish

Preparation

·         Pulse all the ingredients along with a handful of ice in a blender until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with a pineapple slice.
