Tommasi Amarone

Tommasi Amarone is produced from the Valpolicella grape varieties (Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone, Molinara and Oseleta) which are cultivated on high hillside terraces. The grape juice aged at least three years in oak barrels and is then bottled and after bottling its aged for at least another year.
Tommasi Amarone wine has a very intense cherry red color. On the nose is a fervent clean aroma of luscious wild berries, black cherries and cherries complemented by fresh and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is dry with excellent balance between acidity and tannins. The whole palate is enhanced with an enjoyable tannic texture that fades towards a finish of magnificent persistence, with light hints of red fruit. Tommasi Amarone wine pairs well with game meat, mature cheeses, as well as red meats.

Tommasi Valpolicella Ripasso wine is a blend of 70% Corvina grape, 25% Rondinella and 5% Corvinone grapes. These grapes are crushed and fermented in stainless steel vats for around 15 days and then matured for at least 18 months in Slavonian oak casks.
Tommasi Valpolicella Ripasso is a deep, bright ruby red in color. It is rich and intensely spicy on the nose, with notes of cherry jam, tobacco and black pepper. On the palate it is full-bodied yet elegant, with gentle, silky tannins and a very long finish.
