Glenrothes john ramsay is a very special whiskey from Glenrothes, named after their malt master John Ramsay. This whisky is the best of the best; John selected twenty second fill American oak casks and vetted them into sherry butts. A further two were selected from there and were vetted, and reduced to 46.7 to provide this superb bottling.

 Glenrothes john ramsay whisky is rich and spicy with orange marmalade and vanilla, its palate is full bodied dram with baked tropical fruits notes and a supple softness. I t has a lengthy and sweet finish with more soft tropical fruit and vanilla. This is a grown-up whisky that’s long, smooth and soft, a result of its American oak maturation. It is a perfect tribute, and truly delicious Glenrothes.
