2. Add ice and shake again until well-chilled

Another member of the Martini -in -name only family (witness the Espresso Martini, the French Martini and even the porn star Martini) but so delicious it can slide, the Chocolate Martini is a decadent concoction that easily can double as dessert. The key to this cocktail is using the highest-quality ingredients possible, such as Giffard crème de cacao and Godiva chocolate liqueur.
It’s still plenty sweet, though, so keep in mind it’s far better as a nightcap than for kicking off an evening. Better yet, drink it as your dessert for a two-birds-with one stone effect.
Ingredients
· Cocoa powder, to rim glass
· 1-ounce chocolate liqueur (such as Godiva) plus more for rimming glass
· 1-ounce crème de cacao (such as Giffard)
· 1-ounce vodka
· ½ ounce half and half
Steps
1. Add a small amount of chocolate liqueur into a small rimmed plate.
2. Add a small amount of coca powder to another plate.
3. Dip the rim of an inverted cocktail glass into the liqueur, then into the cocoa powder. Set aside.
4. Add the chocolate liqueur, crème de cacao, vodka and half-and-half into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.

· 2 ounces French dry vermouth
· 1-ounce Kirschwasser (cherry brandy)

· Garnish: Brandied cherry.

1. Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.

4.Bitter Hearts Known Better
This twist on a Gimlet gets a boost from flavorful gentian amaro, or Italian bitter liqueur, which also gives it its name. The Gimlet is made with a trio of ingredients: gin, lime juice and simple syrup, plus a dose of gentian amaro, which gives the drink a light, herbal bitterness that’s in step with its name. The hibiscus gin is responsible for that gorgeous color, and it can easily be created at home by adding dried hibiscus flowers to a bottle of gin.
Ingredients
· Pink sugar to rim glass
· 2 ounces hibiscus-infused gin
· ½ ounce Lo-Fi gentian amaro
· 1-ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
· ¾ ounce simple syrup
Steps
1. Wet the rim of a coupe, then roll the rim in pink sugar until coated, and set aside.
2. Add the hibiscus-infused gin, gentian amaro, lime juice and simple syrup into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.
3. Strain into the prepared glass
Hibiscus-infused gin: In a large container, combine one 750ml bottle of gin with ¼ cup dried hibiscus flowers and let sit for 8 hours. Strain back into the bottle.
